What would a marketing event be without a giant cereal bowl? Hargrove, LLC is an event production agency that specializes in live, hybrid, and virtual events. Their events are known for their jaw-dropping displays, designs, and effects.
Illustrated Designs first came in contact with Hargrove at the 2019 WBENC Conference in Baltimore. After sharing our portfolio and meeting with their VP of Production Services, we’ve been partnering with them ever since.
This project came about as Hargrove was designing a trade show booth for a client attending the Food & Nutrition Conference in Philadelphia, PA. They needed someone to fabricate the large cereal bowl for the booth they’d designed. They sent the dimensions and specifications our way.
The giant cereal bowl project took about 2 ½ weeks to complete. Our custom fabricator, Chris, used EPS foam that was hard-coated with an acrylic hard coat process: sanded, prepped, and painted. The “milk” false bottom was sculpted into the bowl to hold and display the cereal boxes. To finish it off, vinyl logos were applied. Chris then built a custom crate to fit the giant prop in order to transport it easily to the event.
